Stephanie Minnie (Melnyk) Kohan

Stephanie Minnie Kohan “Stephie” passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at the age of 81 years.  Stephie was predeceased by her parents John and Anne, and brother Terry Melnyk. She is survived by her husband of 56 years Vern, son James (Linda Brown) Kohan, daughter Anna (Keith) La Bossiere, son Stephen (Tracy) Kohan, sister Evelyn Woolner and their families.  Stephie retired from nursing in 1995 and enjoyed her grandchildren, Brayden, Briana, Julian, Sarah, Maxwell, and Nickolas, as well as indulging her expansive curiosity in all manner of subjects, and sharing her sharp and warm sense of humour with family and friends.  Funeral Mass will be held at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church (10 Prestwick Dr. SE) on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 10:30 am.
