Our hearts ache for the sorrow you as a family have experienced in the past number of days. It is heartwarming to know of the love and support you have shared among you and all in the glory of such a wonderful man loved by so many. May you be comforted by the warm memories of your dad, your grandpa, and your partner which you'll have for a lifetime.

We will always remember Horst for the noble way he carried himself, the way his face lit up as his family approached him, and the simple, gentle comfort of his presence.
