Hello, I was going through my old telephone book, saw Adam's name, googled it and now see the sad news. Adam was a special person. We met in early 1990's in the Lviv bus station. My husband and I were there looking to find family history near Ternopil. We spoke not a word of Polish or Ukrainian and minutes after we met he decided to change his plans and spend the day with us navigating with a hired taxi driver, translating and giving us a bit of his history and humor. He was a living angel that day. We had a lovely time visiting a cemetery, crashing a wedding party with the taxi driver and touring Ternopil. Years later I come to find that family are from Kozowa, not Ternopil! Once back home in San Francisco Adam gave us a most welcomed visit several years later. I believe he was then married and seemed very content with his life in Canada. I'm so sorry for the great loss to your family and send my heartfelt condolences. If I find photos from my time with Adam I will be sure to post them.

Take sympathy over relatives from Ukraine. To the greatest regret we knew too late about such heavy casualty.
