Victor Kai Chuen Lau

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Victor Kai Chuen Lau, who passed away peacefully on March 30, 2025 at the age of 78. 

Born in HeShan, China on June 18, 1947 to Lau Wei Min and Hu You Gen.  Victor was a devoted husband to Sue Lau, his wife of 52 years, and a loving father to Lawrence (Angela), Jason (Alice), Jennifer (Henry), Gregory, Alexander (Charlene).  He was known for his love and passion for gardening, tai chi, fishing, history, dry sense of humor and hard work ethic. 

He is survived by his loving family, seven grandchildren - Madeline, Leah, Violet, Andrew, Peter, Noah, Parker, sister, Lau Wai Kew and many friends who will miss him dearly. 

A Memorial Service will be held at Evan J. Strong Funeral Services North (3625 - 12 Street NE Calgary).on April 23 at 11:00 AM.   Private burial to follow at Canmore Cemetery.
