It is with incredible sadness that the family of Veronica Kubik announces her passing surrounded by family on Thursday, June 5th at the wonderful age of 100. After Veronica married John in the Crowsnest Pass they moved to Calgary to raise their family in 1956. She had many waitressing jobs in her lifetime and was an incredible baker. Her biggest joy was her family. Veronica is survived by sons, Glenn Kubik (Rita), Paul Kubik (Andrea); daughters, Colleen Zuzic (Dino), Lori Tahmazian (Alex); 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Ethel Pattison and many nieces and nephews. Veronica was predeceased by her husband John in 2016, parents, John and Mary Olechow, sister Marge Simla and brother Fred Olechow. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint James Catholic Church (5504 - 20 Street SW) on Friday, June 13, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. with Father Julian Studden, presiding. Graveside Service at 2:00 p.m. at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens. Photos, memories and condolences may be shared with Veronica’s family through www.evanstrong.com.
