Tyrell was an athlete. A gymnast. He excelled at every physical goal he ever set for himself. From back springs, handstands, dirt biking, scaling the front of Grandma's condo when he got locked out (condo board loved that one), and becoming an Ironworker. His love for pushing his physical self helped him so much in life. It also made the people around him so proud and often in shocking admiration of his abilities.
Though his physical abilities were mind blowing, kindness is what I remember the most about Tyrell. He would be honoured to know that his final act of kindness and generosity changed the lives of five people, with the gift of his organs. Tyrell’s kindness extended to everybody, from giving his jackets to people outside in the cold that needed done, to always having time to patiently teach the amazing gym skills he possessed. Seeing people suffer or hurt made Tyrell uncomfortable. He wanted to make it better for them. This is probably the reason Tyrell never turned inward to analyze his own unimaginable hurt and grief within his own heart.
Tyrell and Hailey were each other’s best friends. Tyrells biggest role in life was being a big brother. They accepted each other’s strengths and weaknesses with out any judgements, just kindness and love. Losing his sister broke Tyrell’s heart.
In memory of Tyrell, please carry kindness and acceptance in your heart. Understand there is more to everybody’s story than the surface reveals. Let kindness with your words, actions, motives and thoughts be your guide.
Tyrell will be missed dearly by so many people: his mom; Jennifer Prosser (Troy). Big cousins; Taylor & Kody. Little cousins; Oslo, Makayla, Logan and Kinlee. Grandma; Cynthia Roberts and Grandpa; Larry (Rita) Prosser. Aunts, Janet (Mark) Willment and Laurie (Chris) Green that all loved him so much. They will remember the kind, generous, patient and athletic person Tyrell was, even in the midst of his absolute heartbreak and grief.
A celebration of the love and joy Tyrell brought to this world will be held at a later date, when circumstances allow.
Rest In Peace our sweet, handsome, caring, generous, talented boy. Go be with your sister, take care of her as you have always done.
