Trevor is survived by his mother Eileen (Alf) Wieme, sister Tracey Jones, stepbrother Chris (Jenn) Wieme. Children Ashley (Andrew) Baker, Amber Metz, Chandra (Tyler) Metz, Arion (Shelly) Metz, Kaylee (John) Metz-Wandler, 10 beautiful grandchildren and numerous extended family members and countless brothers and friends.
Trevor was born, raised and lived in Regina. It was a dream of Trevor’s to live in British Columbia and he accomplished this shortly after retiring. He made it, he finally made it! He was employed with the provincial government for 38 years before retiring and starting the adventure of a lifetime.
Trevor loved his tunes, the louder the better! It was his way of feeling and healing. He was always mesmerized by nature, water and the mountains. Trevor played many sports, he was content and patient in a tree stand, appreciated the wind in his face while riding into the sunset, loved camping, sitting around a blazing fire and talking about life. He was always only a phone call away.
A celebration of Life will be held at the Serbian Club (2775 Avonhurst Drive, Regina, Saskatchewan) on November 23,2024 at 4pm. Those attending are welcome to stay for a continued celebration with live music performed by Big Bad Storm.
Flowers are most gratefully declined. Family and friends wishing to make donations in memoriam, please do so to Breast Cancer Canada, formerly the Breast Cancer Society at Trevor’s request “save the boobies”.
The time has come that I have passed
The song has ended but the melody lives on
The good times and the bad times
I know who loved me
This is not good bye because that is only for the ones who love with their eyes
May my spirit and memories of me live on
The sorrow of my death pass
For life is too short to worry about anything that doesn't make your soul happy
We shall meet again on the other side
