It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Tom Eubank, on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at the young age of 58 years old. He passed away in Calgary with family by his side. Tom was born in Marville, France to Bill and Marlene Eubank. They moved back to Canada when Tom was an infant. Tom was an 'Army Brat', so he lived in many different places throughout Canada, planting roots in Calgary where he hired on to CP Railway in March of 1984. Tom started out as a brakeman, was a conductor, and then became a Locomotive Engineer. He loved trains all his life and he especially loved driving trains. In 2004 Tom moved to Medicine Hat where he met the love of his life, Irene Rempel at work. They both resided in Medicine Hat until his passing. Sadly, Tom was playing with the idea of retiring when he passed away. Tom leaves to cherish his memory, his best friend and loving wife Irene; three daughters and families: Mary-Ellen and grandson CK, Heather (Jamie) and grandson Damian, Sara (Brandon); and 2 grand pups Xena and Tux. Tom also leaves behind his mother Marlene Deacon; two sisters Kim (Louie) and nephews Luke and Marc, Karen (Ray); and nephews Thomas and Nick. Tom was predeceased by his father Bill Eubank. Tom will be remembered as an amazing husband, father and grandfather. As per Tom’s wishes, cremation will take place without a funeral service. We will keep Tom in our hearts forever. Photos, memories and condolences may be shared with the Eubank family through www.evanjstrong.com. Arrangements in care of EVAN J. STRONG FUNERAL SERVICES. (403) 265-1199
