Therese Markevich Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Therese Markevich, formerly of Winnipeg, MB, and recently residing in Calgary, AB. Therese passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021, after a very brief stay in hospital. Her life was a long and happy one, filled with love, generosity, and friendship.

Therese was a widow for 31 years, after her beloved husband Frank died in 1989. They had two daughters, Colette (Rudy) Klassen of Calgary, and Denise (Vince) Krynski of Victoria. Also precious to her were four grandchildren Joshua Krynski, (wife Jennie and children Tynan and Ava of Didsbury), Jordan Klassen (wife Brandi and children Makena and Lincoln) of Calgary, Jeffrey Krynski of Victoria, and Rachelle Anders (Matthew) of Calgary.

A celebration of Therese’s life will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021. A live stream via Zoom is available beginning at 2:00pm in Winnipeg, 1:00pm in Calgary, and Noon in Victoria.
