Theodore Maxim Obituary

Theodore "Ted" Maxim passed away peacefully on May 3, 2020 at the age of 95 years. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Dorothy, brother Bill (Colleen), sisters Theresa Cvik and Mary Maxim (Allan Brown), and nephews and nieces, James Maxim (Frances Lecky), Robert Maxim (Anne Isbister), Sean (Kelly) Maxim, Shannon Furze, Michelle and Michael Cvik. He was predeceased by his brother, Jim and sister-in-law, Mary. Born in Nyirlugos, Hungary, Ted came to Canada at a young age. After serving in the Canadian Army in WWII as a demolition expert, he started Maxim Blasting Services Ltd. which he ran until retirement. A memorial service will be held at a later date. We wish to thank the amazing staff at Colonel Belcher Dieppe Centre, and James Maxim and Frances Lecky for all their care and assistance.
