Terrence (Terry) Guy Berrington

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our father, Terry Berrington of Calgary, AB on March 5, 2023, at the age of 69 years. 

Terry spent his formative years on Vancouver Island. He moved to Calgary in his adolescence where he graduated from Queen Elizabeth Highschool, started a family, and built his career. 

He developed a love for the outdoors in his childhood that never diminished. Terry loved the ocean, hiking, working at the cabin, building elaborate snow castles for his girls and long walks by the Bow River. 

Ever a lover of the arts, his home was always full of music, his own artwork adorning the walls and an abundance of books as he was an avid reader of classic literature and history. 

He is survived by his daughters, Jessie, and Julie(Cameron); grandson Cohan; father Arnold; siblings, Lance (Kim), and Lana; nephew Myles(Sasha); and his dear friend Brenda. He was predeceased by his mother Ella. 

Terry will be remembered for his friendly nature, sense of humour and fiery spirit. 

A celebration of his life will be held at Jamesons Brentwood (3790 Brentwood Rd, NW), on Sunday, March 19, 2023, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. 

In lieu of flowers, you would honour our father with a donation to your favourite charity.
