Susan Elaine Charchuk

On December 29th Sue peacefully passed away leaving behind her partner Barry Meggs; her son Thijs (Holly) Vogelzang (Kees and Vander) ; and her daughter Tina (John) Vogelzang (Colby and Aiden).  She also will be missed by her brothers and sister, as well as numerous nieces and nephews that always loved a family get together with Sue and her wonderful sense of humour. 

Susan was born in Vermillion, Alberta on February 2, 1957 to Steve and Edna Charchuk.  Her father was a banker, so she grew up in a number of small towns in rural Alberta.  In 1972 the family settled in Calgary where she completed her education and then started working for the Royal Bank, a career that she loved and continued to work at until her sudden passing.

Sue had a passion for waterskiing and was a huge joy to her that she could participate in her children and later her grandchildren learning the sport.  She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. 

A Celebration of Her Life will be held at a later date
