Shui Yiu Wong Ma was born in the Cow-Crossing-Pond Village, Hoi Ping Yuen in the province of Kwantung, China in 1927. She
passed away in a local hospital on May 5, 2022.
Shui Yiu Wong Ma married Kok Chuen Ma in 1947. Together, they raised 3 children: Amy (Tim) Chow, Jeff (Michelle) Ma, David
(Sherleen) Ma.
Mom has 7 grandchildren Howard (Cecilia) Chow, Arnold (Glennys) Chow, Sylvia (Luan) Ly, Kristy (Kostas) Ma, Kayla, Ryan
(Ling) Ma, Tobias Ma.
Mom also has 7 great-grandchildren. Her oldest great-grandchild Paige is now an angel with the Lord. Surviving great grand
children are Abby and Natalie Chow, Brooke and Connor Chow, Victor and Dominic Ly.
Mom immigrated to Canada in 1972 with her family. Mom worked hard all her life. She worked as a seamstress in Canada for more than 20 years before she retired. In her whole life, she put her family in her utmost priority list. She helped raise her grandchildren diligently. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. Their every accomplishment was a great joy to her. Mom’s love to us all was bountiful. We want to say we love her dearly and thank her to be a significant part of our lives. She will be
remembered in our hearts.
