Shannon Rose Thompson

It is with great sadness that the family of Shannon Rose Thompson announce her sudden passing on May 19, 2024, in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 55.

Shannon was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on September 15, 1968.  At the time of her passing, Shannon was employed at Anderson Estates as a concierge.

Shannon was predeceased by her daughter, Theresa on April 25, 1987, and her mother, Marjorie on December 19, 2022.

Shannon is survived by her common-law husband, Lance Troy Jones; her sons, Trent and Tanner; father, Lawrence Thompson; brother, Richard (Cynthia); nephew, Aaron; and niece, Angela (Ed); her  great-nephews, Alex and Ethan.  She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Evan J. Strong Funeral Services North (3625 12 Street NE) on Friday, May 31, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. with a recording of the service available below for those unable to attend in person.
