Sebastian Zachary Rocha

Dear Family and Friends,

It is with great sadness that the family of Sebastian Rocha announce his passing peacefully in Calgary on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at the age of 95. He is grieved and will be dearly missed by his loving children; Lynda (Angelo) Affonso, Tony (Charlotte) Rocha, Mary (Neville) Rego, Barbara (Vernon) Lewis and Zelma (Ashley) Carvalho; grandchildren Crystal (Andrew), Allison, Justin (Mia), Jonathan (Rachel), Jordan, Joshua, Jason, Kimberley and Richard; great-grandchildren Julia, Enzo, Ethan and Elsie; siblings Agatha (Max) Simoes, Sister-in-law Luce (late Dominic) Rocha. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Marie Rocha, his parents Anthony and Louisa Rocha and his siblings Frank (Stella) Rocha, Rita (Duncan) Lee-Anan and Dominic Rocha.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mark’s Catholic Church (5552 Madigan Dr NE, Calgary, AB T2A 4P2) on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 11:00 am.  Viewing will be from 10:30am to 11:00am prior to the Mass. Burial will follow at Rocky View Garden of Peace Cemetery (243208 Garden Rd, Calgary, AB T1X 1G2), followed by a reception to celebrate Sebastian’s life at St Mark’s Parish Hall. For friends and family who are unable to attend, a recording of the mass may be viewed below.
