Ryan Victor Bischoff (46) of Calgary, passed away suddenly on 24 July 2018. Born on 29 January 1972, he lived most of his young life in Edmonton. He graduated from McNally High School and attended the University of Alberta, graduating with a BSc in Mechanical Engineering in 1995. Ryan lived in Fort McMurray for 14 years, working for Syncrude and Suncor, and was one of the founding partners of BNG Engineering. He was an avid cyclist and cross-country skier and enjoyed travelling, fine dining, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. His unique sense of humour was endearing, and he will be sorely missed.
Ryan was predeceased by his father, Vic Bischoff; his grandparents, Howard and Peggy Sells, and Erika and Robert Bischoff. He is survived by his mother, Lorraine Bischoff (Calgary); his children, Emily Bischoff, Nick Bischoff, and their mother Maryse Bischoff (Calgary); his brother, Jason Bischoff; and wife, Deanna (Edmonton); his dear friend and companion, Dominique Brunelle (Montreal); and his business partner and best friend, David Grechuk (Nova Scotia).
