Rotimi Adegboyega Shobayo

Rotimi Adegboyega Shobayo was born into the Egiri Royal family of Oke-Ido Gbagura Abeokuta, son of Abideen Olayiwola and Misitura Abioye Shobayo on the 10th of December 1961.  He attended the Ansardeen Primary School Kemta Ilawo, Oke-ido, Gbagura Abeokuta between 1968 and 1974. He had his secondary school years in Ibadan at Oke-Ibadan High school and later attended Fatima College Ikire with a flying grade in the year 1975 -1979. Rotimi had his Higher School Certificate (HSC) as a science student at Adeola Odutola College between the years 1979 - 1981. He proceeded to have his Ordinary National Diploma (OND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) at Ogun State Polytechnic Abeokuta between 1981 -1986, graduating with honors in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, specializing in Computer Technology. 

Rotimi started his working career with Ogun State Television as a Technical Engineer after receiving his Ordinary National Diploma from Ogun State Polytechnic Abeokuta between the years 1983 and 1985. After graduation at Ogun State Polytechnic Abeokuta he proceeded to serve his country Nigeria, at the Federal Capital Territory Abuja. He later worked with the Management Information Systems Company (MIS) as Systems Engineer and advanced to be the Divisional Manager for the Eastern Region, Port-Harcourt (1990 - 2001).  Rotimi Shobayo moved to the USA in the year 2002 and later to Canada in the year 2010.

In Calgary, Canada in June of 2010 he worked with Sears and he want sent to school to study at SAIT September 2015. Then he worked with United Safety Company as the Supervisor from 2018 onwards.

Adegboyega Rotimi Shobayo was a Christian. He first worshipped at Deeper Life Church from November 30, 1989-1999.  Then he joined MFM church starting January 1,  2000 until he passed away.

Rotimi Shobayo is survived by wife, daughters Agatha Jame and Lauretta Anyaele, son Paul Adegboyega, and siblings, and was predeceased by Rosemary Shobayo.
