Roger Bissonnette, of Airdrie, AB, passed away on November 24, 2021 at the age of 79 years. He was born to parents Leah and Placide Bissonnette, on January 10, 1942 in Tilbury, ON. He spent the majority of his life in Edmonton. Roger was a hard worker. He graduated with a degree in chemistry and worked in multiple positions, including as an entrepreneur with the soup and sandwich shop, Soup’s On. He spent his retirement years enjoying travel, road trips, and numerous cruises. In 2009, Roger moved to Airdrie from Edmonton to spend more time with his grandchildren. He was a support to his family, as he was the preschool transportation for his grandchildren. Roger is survived by his daughter Jackie; his son Jeffrey; his son-in-law Wade; his daughter-in-law Rebecca; his grandchildren Lauren and Evan. He was preceded in death by his mother Leah; his father Placide; his sisters Rita, Jeanne, and Annette; and brothers Roland, and Romeo.
The family will announce a date for a gathering for Roger at a later time.
