It is with heavy hearts that we announce, after a short battle with illness, the passing of Robert (Bob) Sabraw at the age of 84.
Born on November 12, 1938, in Radisson Saskatchewan, Bob, better known as Big Bob the Iron Worker, spent most of his career as part of the Calgary Iron Workers Union Local 725. He was a loving father, grandfather, and partner. He will be sadly missed.
Those left to mourn are Bob's children, Bobby, Dion, and Toby; as well as Bob's siblings, Jim (Vivian), Ray (Mel), and Lorraine; and partner Luella Gallup. He was predeceased by his son James.
We would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at the AgeCare Skypointe in Calgary, as well as the professional care from Evan J. Strong Funeral Home.
