Robert John Pattison

Bob (Robert John) Pattison passed away on Sunday, April 19th, 2026, at the age of 89 yrs.

Born in Calgary to George and Lily Pattison, He grew up in the community of Hillhurst. Bob married Tari Jensen and they had four daughters.

He met his second wife, Helga Dauer , at the Rocky Mountain Ramblers, where they developed lifelong friendships. Bob and Helga spent many years enjoying hiking, camping, skiing, and travelling in Canada and Europe. Bob had a lengthy career with Alberta Government Telephones (AGT). He was an avid collector of Black Forest Cuckoo Clocks. He was also a model railroad enthusiast creating a model train railway system that he loved sharing with his grandchildren.

Bob is survived by his daughters, Valerie Rains (Carey), Jayna Pattison (Milan), Georgia Pattison (Darren), and Traci Harris; Grandchildren, Kristin (Chris), Mitchell (Markie), Tasha (Raphael), Kevin, Bradley (Chelsea), Auston (Caitlyn), Lucas (Addie), Jonah (Jordyn); Great Grandchildren,  Payton, Everly, Sydney, Ivy, Jude, and Esme.

Bob was predeceased by his wife Helga and Grand Daughter Ashlynn.

The family would like to thank his neighbors who helped look after our dad, Home Instead, AHS Palliative Team and Skypointe Hospice.

A gathering to celebrate our Dad, Grandpa and Great Grandpa will be held at a later date.
