Rikka Ellen Daignault

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Rikka Ellen Daignault, on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at the age of 89.

Mom was a loving mother to her six children, Susan (Curt Hart), Alice (Cam Backous), Bev (Guy Miller), Larry (Tina), David (Fay), and Rick. She will also be deeply missed by her 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Mom was predeceased by her parents, Trygve (Ted) Johansen & Sarah (Westle); her in-laws, John & Eva Daignault; her beloved husband, Paul; her brother, Carl; and her sisters-in-law, Janet & Val.

Our family would like to express our sincere gratitude to the caring staff at Newport Harbour for their compassionate care of Mom during her final months.

A Memorial Service will be held at Harvest Hills Kingdom Hall (9660 Aurora Park Link NE, Calgary) on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.
