Richard (Rick) Wesley Travis

It is with broken hearts that we announce that passing of Rick Travis on Friday, August 30, 2024, in the Foothills Hospital, at the age of 69 years.

Rick is survived by his loving wife, Cindy; his fur baby Otis; and his younger siblings Roberta Travis and Jim (Tara) Travis. His is also survived by his niece, Joanna (Josh) and nephew, Connor. He was predeceased by his parents Dick (Richard) and Louisa Travis and his older sister Theresa Kemp. He was also cherished by his second family, Bob & Linda Smiley, as well as his nieces, nephew and great-nieces, and great-nephews. 

Memorial Services will be held at Evan J Strong Funeral Services (3625 – 12th Street NE) on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 119 – 14th Street NW, Calgary, Alberta, T2N 1Z6
