Phyllis Margaret Dale (nee Gransch)

Phyllis, aged 89, passed away peacefully on April 29th, 2026, in Calgary, AB, surrounded by loving family.

She is survived by: her son Guy (Kim), her daughter Gay/Ali, her grandchildren Cody, Jordan, Craig (Meg), Kylie (Mark), her cherished great-grandchildren Quinn, Malia, and Paisley, her sister Lorraine, and nieces Kim and Kerri (Ross). Phyllis was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bob, on July 4th, 2023, and her parents.

Phyllis was born in Cudworth, SK, and was raised in a farming community. Marrying her true love, Bob, in Winnipeg, MB on October 4th, 1958, they then moved to Calgary, AB to raise their children and enjoy the outdoors, camping, skiing, along with many travel adventures. Phyllis dedicated years of service to her community, working for CIBC, Foothills Hospital, and the Catholic School Board, where she made many good friends. Her love for skiing, golf, and helping others led to many hours of volunteering, mainly with Calgary Olympic Park and the Glen Eagles Golf Course in Cochrane, AB, where she and Bob lived for over 25 years.

No memorial service or funeral is planned. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, please donate to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
