Obituary
It is with great sorrow that I announce the sudden passing of my dear brother Paul Naoum Triffen of Calgary, Alberta on Thursday June 16, 2022 at the age of 68 years.
Paul was born in Calgary but recently resided in his new home in Penticton, British Columbia. He had a very positive nature with life and showed it to the many people he met in his journeys. He left a great lasting impression to many who met him.
Paul’s main love was golfing and travelled through his life to many places in North America and Europe but mainly Greece the birthplace of his parents. He was deeply proud of his Greek heritage and of his Greek Orthodox faith.
He was predeceased by his father Philip Naoum, his mother Evgenia and his twin brother George. He is survived by his brother Philip and numerous relatives in Greece.
May his memory be Eternal.
Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers at Evan J. Strong Funeral Services (5502 2 St SW) on Monday, June 27, 2022 at 6:00pm. Funeral Service will be held at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church (1 Tamarac Crescent SW) on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 11:00am with The Rev. Thomas Sandberg presiding. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemtery. Reception to follow in St. Demetrios Parish Hall.
