Patricia Anne Sorrey

Patricia Anne Sorrey, age 75 passed away peacefully on February 1, 2021 at Foothills Hospital, Calgary. She bravely battled lung cancer & passed due to related complications.

 She was born in Hamilton, ON, July 20, 1945. Pat made her life in Burlington ON with her family and lived in Calgary for the last 17 years where Patricia’s love for her family drew her close to be with her two daughters and grandchildren.

 Her greatest joy was time spent with her daughters Nicole and Louise and their children. Often referred to as "Glamma" by her six grandchildren she cherished every moment with them. Quinn-Taylor, Cian, Caelyn, Kyle, Zalienna & Yaslyn will miss her very much but know their “Glamma” & her love for them will always live on in their hearts.

 We are left with fond memories of Patricia's zest for life and love of people. Her kindness and generosity towards others have touched many lives. Pat’s quick wit & fantastic sense of humor will be forever enjoyed in the stories we share of times together.

 Pat took comfort in the Scriptures in her remaining days and took encouragement from Psalm 91 "I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust". We look forward to that day of being reunited with her in Heaven.

 Patricia is survived many brothers and sisters throughout Canada.
