Neil Wayne Runcie

The infamous Neil Runcie passed away April 11 2025. If you had the stroke of luck to know him you knew joy, laughter and were inspired. He left his mark in this era and will live on in our memories, hearts and the ethers.

Neil dedicated his life to education working as a teacher in rural Alberta. Sports was always a theme in his life playing hockey and football as a youth. Outdoor adventure also became a focus spending summers camping and hiking; exploring mountains, beaches and deserts.

He is survived by his mother Louise Runcie. His 2 daughters Samantha and Nicole Runcie. His sister Lynn Runcie and his nephew Colin Runcie.
