Nancy Jean Rees

Nancy Jean Rees was born on July 19, 1958 in Campbellford, Ontario to Francis and Arden Haig. She often talked about growing up on the farm, playing softball, watching her brother and nephews play hockey, causing trouble and cherishing every moment with family and friends.

Nancy enjoyed her time watching her soaps and hockey games, reading Danielle Steel books, doing crosswords and half finishing puzzles. She loved playing cards and never turned down a game of SORRY with her son David. Nancy was a social butterfly who lit up the room everywhere she went, and never lost touch with the ones she loved. As a loving mother, wife, aunt, sister and friend. She is loved and will be deeply missed by all. I love you mom.

Nancy is survived by her husband Steve Jordan; her sons Adam and David;  her sister Carol (Jack) Dunk; brothers Robert (Susan) Haig and Peter Haig; and many much loved nieces, nephews and cousins. Nancy was predeceased by her parents Francis and Arden Haig.

A private funeral service will be held on Friday, April 2, 2021 at 1:00pm. A private graveside service will be held at a later date in Ontario.
