Nadia (Kostiuk) Parcey

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Nadia Parcey (nee Kostiuk) who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at the age of 85 years.  Nadia was born on December 9, 1939, and raised in Pine River, Manitoba.  Mom married Adolph Parcey and settled in Calgary, in the Westgate area where they raised three beautiful children while working for the Alberta Children’s Hospital and retired after 20 years.  Nadia was a proud mother of three children, Donna Parcey (deceased), Douglas Parcey (Jodi Morton), Delores Picone (Rory Picone).  She will be deeply missed by her five grandchildren: Tabitha Vallerie, Sydney Parcey, Dustin McKay, Sean McKay, and Adam Picone.  She is also survived by her siblings, Sonia Pylypiw (Hellar) and Jim Kostiuk and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, Slava and Michael Kostiuk; brothers Lawrence Kostiuk and Ernie Kostiuk.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Stephen Protomartyr Ukrainian Catholic Church (4903 45 St SW, Calgary, AB) on Monday, November 17, 2025, at 11:00 AM with live-streaming available through the following link or below https://youtube.com/live/EXqEN5y-0xw?feature=share.
