Mike Rynn Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dearest husband, father, son and brother Mike.

Mike was raised in the Fraser Valley of British Colombia. As a child he was passionate about animals, nature and sports. He was very purposeful, curious and kind.

Mike excelled at every work opportunity that he attempted enabling him to travel around the world to places like Peru, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Turkey, Korea, Russia and a few more. He gave 100 percent in every project and was recognized for that.

His true happiness came from family. He had his three children always on his mind and every decision he made was guided by his wish to give them all the tools that they would need to succeed and lead happy lives. He was so proud of them and loved them deeply.

He shared his passion for travel, adventure and nature with his wife Claudia. A couple of years ago they decided to leave their jobs to spend more time exploring the world together. Calgary was their home, Argentina the country where his adopted family (Claudia’s family) was always happy to welcome them and the rest of the world, their playground. They shared their love for 20 happy years, complementing each other in the most amazing, loving and wonderful way.

Strong, driven, generous and talented, Mike lived every day to the fullest and was the type of man that worked hard to make his dreams come true. He felt his most true happy self in the mountains, and we will always think of him when we look at them.

He will be forever missed by his wife Claudia and children Alex, Isaac and Miguela; his mother Margaret Renee Rynn; his sister Noreen (Wayne) Irvine; brothers Jim (Catharine), Richard (Gelliana), Kevin (Donna), Brent (Michelle); his sisters-in-law from Argentina Silvina and Cecilia Moran; his father-in-law Mario Moran and his numerous nieces and nephews and extended family. Mike was predeceased by his father James Michael Rynn.

A private memorial will be held in his honour.
