Melody Nayler-Keller Obituary

Melody Nayler-Keller, beloved wife who was predeceased by husband Ray Keller of Calgary, AB passed away peacefully on Monday November 29, 2021 at the age of 79. Melody was born on August 19, 1942 in Bulawayo, Rhodesia and moved to Canada with her family while she was in high school.  Melody had a variety of careers ranging from bookkeeper to independent Artist (which was her lifelong passion). Melody was a founding member of the Artist Trading Cards (Calgary) and was excited to trade cards with artists both locally and around the world. Aside from art, Melody enjoyed spending time with family (especially grandchildren), bird watching, reading and being of service to anyone in need.

Melody will be lovingly remembered by her brother John, sister-in-law Barbara (predeceased by Peter), brother Derek (Francesca), and sister Christine (Eddie); her daughter Tracy Steinman (Darcy); her son Evan Stirling (Donna); her grandchildren Daniel (Janelle), Connor, Marissa and Emily; and great-grandchild Brooks. Melody was well known for saying "Glad you met me" whenever meeting someone new. Melody's exuberant spirit and love for others will be sadly missed.

In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to Hope for Dementia (www.hopefordementia.org)

The family would also like to express their sincere thanks to Cedars Villa Extendicare to whom they are grateful for their kind and loving care.
