Maurice Ronald "Moe" LeBlanc passed in peace on May 11, 2020 at the age of 78 years, with Holly and Christy by his side.
We will all remember Dad for his amazing wit and sense of humor. His laugh was infectious, and he could light up a room. Dad's thirst for knowledge was unparalleled... the man studied the trivial pursuit cards for heavens sake. He was a history buff and loved to impart that wisdom to all who would listen. Dad was very creative even from a young age, drawing Disney characters on his walls and decorating clothing. We played a game as kids where we would draw any kind of squiggly line and he would make art out of it.
He always had a little ditty to sing. Dad gave us some amazing gifts... the ability to look at life with humor, to be tenacious, to be strong, to be kind.
Dad was dealt a terrible blow with his diagnosis, but he never once felt sorry for himself and chose to live his last days with a positive outlook and humor. Our family was able to spend wonderful days with him.
We will miss his bright light but know that he will always live within all of us.
Moe is the loving husband of Bonnie Olson-LeBlanc; loving friend of Donna LeBlanc; loving father of Jason, Christy and Holly; proud grandfather to David and Aliya and great grandfather to Brayden; loving brother of Dianne (Gord) Legare. He is also survived by nieces’ nephews, other relatives, and friends.
