Maurice Latta Obituary

Maurice Myron Latta passed away peacefully on October 23, 2024 at the Peter Lougheed Cardiac Hospital, at the age of 90. Maurice was born on the farm near Preeceville, Saskatchewan. He served two tours of duty in WWII, having re-enlisted after his first tour was over. After the war, Maurice was employed as a postal service driver and earned an award for safe driving. He loved to travel and visited many countries of the world, with several trips to Poland, having found relatives who live there. Maurice was an avid photographer who took thousands of pictures of the places he visited. He enjoyed reading and watching sports. He is survived by his brothers William and Adolph, as well as his niece and nephews, having never married. Maurice requested cremation and no funeral.
