Maura Carmel Frezell was born in Lewisham, England on May 26th, 1928 and she passed on April 27th, 2021. She lived a very long and happy life over her 92 years.
Maura enjoyed helping people, from working with children as a special needs teacher to giving to multiple charities later in her life.
She always saw the best in people and showed compassion with everyone she met. She was a proper English lady with a quirky Canadian twist. She loved her family with her huge heart and always had a soft spot for animals. She often asked where the dogs were when we went to go visit her over the final months, wanting to see them more than us. She will be missed and will always be remembered as the most loving and caring person by her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter Trish and her granddaughter Caitlin who will miss her dearly and think of her every day. Maura, you will always be in our hearts, reminding us to live life to the fullest and to always be kind.
Instead of donations or flowers, the family requests anyone who wants to honor Maura to go out and do one act of kindness for another person. Maura was so kind and loving that she would have wanted that spread throughout the world.
