Mary "Catherine" Lane (nee Mitchell) Obituary

Born in Vulcan, Alberta, Catherine passed away peacefully at the Rockyview Hospital on April 20, 2019 at the age of 92 years.

The loving wife to Nicholas Lane for 50 years, Catherine is survived by her son, Nick Lane Jr. (Desiree), and her daughter, Cathy Radermacher; her three grandchildren, Elizabeth, Rebecca, and Justin (Sydney) Radermacher. She is also lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews, Sandra (Tom) Chapple, Linda (Larry) Prier, Kim Wall, Nancy (Mark) Ehrman, Jay Bellamy, Corrine (Dennis) Scott, Wanda Mitchell, Rick (Ester) Mitchell, and Randy (Janet) Mitchell; and family friend, Brent Boeckx. Catherine was predeceased by her brothers, Carson (Hazel) Mitchell, and Bill (Eleanor) Mitchell; and brother in law, Gordon (Gladis) Lane.

Catherine graduated as a registered nurse from the Calgary General Hospital in 1949. Special thanks to the caregivers of Unit 47 at the Rockyview Hospital, and to all her friends at the Rocky Vista Manor.
