Mary Ann Rosena Proctor

It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of our mom, Mary Ann Rosena Proctor on February 14, 2020 at the Calgary South Campus Hospital.

Mom was born on August 30, 1947 in Calgary, Alberta. Mary Ann is survived by her children, Gerald Proctor (Katrina Tashlikowich) and Corby Proctor (Emma Anderson). She is also survived by her precious grandchild that she adored, Declan Jaymes Proctor.

We would like to give special thanks to Dr. Michelle Cunningham, mom’s amazing GP, and the exceptional palliative team on the 6th floor in Unit 68 at the Calgary South Campus Hospital. Despite the past 14 months of invasive medical treatments, and supplementary alignments associated with her battle with pancreatic cancer, our mom maintained an unwavering positive attitude, sense of humour and determination that enabled her to manage this debilitating disease until her last breath, she never stopped fighting!

A celebration in her memory had been planned, but at this time we have decided to postpone until an appropriate time when we can all celebrate mom's life together.
