Mary "Elaine" Stoicoiu

It is with deepest sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother Mary Elaine Stoicoiu on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at the age of 98 years. Left to mourn and celebrate her life are her son, Gregory; daughter, Rodica (Michael); brother, Gordon; as well as many nieces and nephews. Elaine was predeceased by her beloved husband Traian (Dr. Traian Stoicoiu). Elaine was a long-time member of St. Anthony’s Parish and Catholic Women’s League as well as a volunteer with various Parish Ministries. Our lives have been enriched by the gift of her life. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church (5340 - 4 Street SW) on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 8:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church (5340 - 4 Street SW) on Friday, October 25, 2019 at 11:00am with the Rev. Edmund Vargas presiding.
