Marty James Cornett

Marty James Cornett passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at the age of 57, while holding hands with his wife, Amy, and daughter, Brooke.

Martmann had an infectious laugh and mischievous, feisty demeanor that everyone he met, knew and loved. It didn’t matter where he went (Mexico, Hawaii, the Dominican, grocery store…), he always ran into someone he knew. ALWAYS.

Marty never wanted anyone to cry over him but he always had you crying in laughter! He was the energy in the room just by being himself. The party never really got started until Martmann arrived!

Marty will be deeply missed by his wife, daughter, mother Darlene (Goulet), brother Mitch, the INSANE number of family members, friends, acquaintances and anyone else he met along the way.

A “Marty Party” open house will be held in the spring to share stories, photos and reminisce about our Marty. Details will be posted soon. “Bring a case of beer for the family.” (Brocket 99).
