Marjorie Twaddle

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Marjorie Twaddle on June 27,2025.

Marjorie is survived by husband, Denis, children Susan (Bob), Kathleen (Mitch), Denise (Ken), John and Colin (Deirdre); grandchildren Kari (Hany), Laurie (Dale), Aaron (Devan), Christie (Brandt), Rachel, Brooke, Hayley, Roisin, Col; great grandchildren; Aaden, Tariq, Feryn, Logan, Christina, Jack, new addition due 09/25!

Marjorie was born in North Shields, England. She married Denis on March 24,1956. They immigrated to Canada March 15,1967 with 3 daughters. Two sons were born in Canada, so roots were established. Marjorie loved to go home to England to visit family as well as host the numerous visitors that stayed with them throughout the years.

Marjorie loved to garden, read, cross-stitch, dance, knit, play games and go for walks. Marjorie and Denis hosted Darts leagues and countless gatherings in their basement and back garden. They loved to go camping with family and friends. Lots of memories! She was kind, generous, altruistic, compassionate and dedicated. She had a heart of gold, hardworking, high energy and a worry wort. She truly left an imprint on anyone who knew her.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church (10 Prestwick Dr SE) on Friday, July 11, 2025 at 11:00 am with livestreaming available through the link below for those unable to attend in person.
