Maria Buchleitner

Maria Buchleitner passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, June 29, 2024, at the age of 93.

Born in Leiden, Netherlands, Maria later moved with her family to Austria, where she met her beloved husband, Hans. In 1953, they began a new chapter of their lives together in Canada.

Maria cherished her family above all else. She was a devoted mother, wife, and Omi, whose love and dedication left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering support will be dearly missed by many.

Maria is survived by her daughter Heidi, son-in-law Ray, three grandchildren, Erin (James), Michelle (Zach), and Jacob, and one great-grandchild, Max. She was predeceased by her husband, Hans, daughter Louise, and son Jacob.
