Margaret Dinwiddie Squire (nee Murray)

We were blessed to have our wife, mom and granny in our lives. Margaret emigrated from Scotland to Canada as a new bride in 1957 and spent most of those years in Calgary with her growing family. Mom would often tell us that she had a really good life and was so happy to be surrounded by her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by George, her husband of 63 years; her children, Jane Squire Howden (Don), Murray Squire, Judy Street (Mike) and Susan Steger (Greg). Granny was so proud of her grandchildren, Chris (Emma) and Mike Squire, David, John and Amy Street, and Sydney, Cassidy and Martin Steger.

Margaret always believed in giving to others and was an active member at Knox Presbyterian Church for almost 60 years while also supporting and volunteering for a variety of charitable organizations.
