Margaret Elizabeth (Brankin) Mazurek

On November 19, 2019 Margaret passed away peacefully at the Calgary Foothills hospital. She is survived by her daughter Kathleen; her son Thomas; her grandsons Matthew, Zachary, and Joseph; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Lawrence Mazurek; her parents Harold and Elizabeth Brankin, and her sister Patricia Dornstauder. A Celebration of Life Mass will be held at St. Luke’s Catholic Church (1566 Northmount Drive N.W., Calgary) on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 11:00 am with The Rev. Freddy Valdivia presiding. Margaret was an active volunteer with the Catholic Women’s League, Meals on Wheels, and the Calgary Interfaith Furniture Store. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and the Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation.
