Marc Roda Devocion

Marc Roda Devocion was originally born in Cebu City, Philippines on September 6, 1967. He was the oldest son of 4 siblings to Adelaida Roda Devocion, and Antonio Olaco Devocion.

Marc and his family immigrated to Canada on May 24, 2005. He was known for his unconditional love for his wife, Jenah Devocion, and his two wonderful children, Marc II, and Trizia Devocion. There was never a day that Marc showed hatred or anger toward his family and friends - he always had a cheerful smile and a positive outlook on life. During his downtime, Marc loved to play basketball with his son and friends and enjoyed baking alongside his daughter and wife. His favorite movies that he never gets tired of watching are Top Gun, Transformers, and Star Trek. Marc was described as an authentic, caring, and very important member of the Hydra Rig family. His love for Jesus Christ was reflected in his presence as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was known to be a great teacher to the Elders Quorum, and a reliable source of God’s teachings. Marc was loved by lots, and he will surely be missed. 

Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at Evan J. Strong Funeral Services North (3625 12 Street NE) on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm.  Funeral Service will be held at Evan J. Funeral Services North on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at 5:00 pm, with a Reception to follow.  There will be a recording of the service available below.
