Mom passed away peacefully on April 28, 2020. Lovingly remembered by her son, Michael (Shelley), her seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Bob, her daughter Cherye, her parents and her five sisters.
Mom was raised on a farm and subsequently moved with her family to Calgary, where she eventually met and married her husband, Bob. Together Mom and Dad founded and co-founded a number of pharmacy businesses. They eventually made their home in the country, where they became very involved with their family with horses and horse-showing. Mom and Dad spent their retirement years enjoying their grandchildren and great grandchildren, and wintering in Arizona. Mom’s favourite time was being with her family; especially over Sunday evening family dinner.
The family would like to express its sincere appreciation to all of Mom’s care givers for providing her with the utmost care and attention during these unprecedented times.
We look forward to honoring Mom in a celebration of her life at a later date.
If so desired, in lieu of flowers memorial tributes may be directly made to the Calgary Interfaith Food Bank Society (www.calgaryfoodbank.ca).
