Linda Matilda Ohlhauser

Wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother,  Linda is survived by Milt, her loving husband of almost 70 years; three children, Marilyn (Wayne), Kelly and Tanis (Greg); four grandchildren, Jason, Ryan (Tarynn), Megan (Matt) and Devin; two great grandchildren, Jeremy and Bria; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws. She was predeceased by her parents Henry & Minna, and her older brother Waldo

Linda had a strong Christian faith and loved God deeply. She was a charter member of Brentview Baptist Church and was a tireless volunteer at the church. She was also treasurer of the volunteer association at the Foothills Hospital Friends store for over 20 years. Linda was an avid pianist, singer, cook, baker, hostess, seamstress, knitter, coffee maker, and Junior church teacher. She enjoyed playing cards and scrabble and did her crossword puzzles in ink. Linda loved to host family and friends. Her home was always a hive of activity with guests of all ages who were always well fed, even on short notice.

Linda and Milt enjoyed travel, including road trips, cruises and sun destinations, often in the company of dear friends or family. No distance was too great to travel to take in all the special events of her grandchildren. She had a sharp mind, a ready laugh and a great capacity to laugh at herself when teased by her children. Linda always had a bright infectious smile, even as the dementia took over her.

Linda will be laid to rest at Mountain View Memorial Gardens following a small family gathering. A memorial will be held once group restrictions have been lifted.
