Linda Clayton Obituary
Linda Clayton (nee Neis) passed away peacefully in Calgary on August 15, 2026 surrounded by her family.
After a hard fought battle with several complex neurological diseases, she has been reunited with her beloved husband Bill-who predeceased her in 2018.
Linda was a Registered Nurse in Calgary for over 40 years, specializing in orthopaedic and post-partum care throughout her career. She was an involved and passionate member of the Anglican Church for over 60 years, primarily at St. George’s Anglican. Above all, Linda was devoted to her family, and she found much joy and purpose in her grandchildren.
Linda leaves behind daughter; Laurel, grandsons; Ethan and Nolan, daughter; Emily and her husband; Norman, granddaughter; Victoria, brothers; Ted (Celina), Stewart (Angela), sister; Anita, brother-in-law; Don (Ria), and a large extended family.
Linda was predeceased by her loving husband of 38 years Bill, her parents; Sheldon and Florence, and her older brother George.
Funeral services will be held at Christ Church Anglican (3602 8 Street SW) on Monday, August 24 at 11:00 am, with a reception to follow. A recording of the service will be available below for those unable to attend in person.
Those who wish to attend are encouraged to wear bright colours and fancy hats as those brought much joy to Linda.
