Born on August 20, 1934 on a farm near the close-knit community of McMahon, Saskatchewan, Lillian was the cherished daughter of Louise and Albert Hassen. Growing up surrounded by six brothers and seven sisters, she developed a deep appreciation for family, community, and the bonds that hold us together.

Lillian was predeceased by her beloved children—her sons Bradley and Mark, and her daughter Beverly—whose memories she held close to her heart every day.

She is lovingly remembered by her surviving children Diane (Doug), Wanda (Darcy), and Randy, grandchildren Melissa (Todd), Ryan, Branden, James (Katelynn), Bradley and Jarrid, great grandchildren Ethan, Keyanna, Liam and Jamie-Lynn. Her role as a grandmother was one she treasured deeply, and her family was the center of her world.

Known for her candid spirit, Lillian never hesitated to speak her mind, yet she balanced this with a gentle kindness and an open heart. Her honesty, warmth, and unwavering love touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her. She will be profoundly missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
