Kuljit "Kulu" Punia Obituary

Born in Santa Barbara, California, and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Kuljit “Kulu” Singh Punia lived a life defined by integrity, curiosity, perseverance, and an unwavering love for his family and community.

To many, he was an accomplished businessman and entrepreneur. However, those who knew him best understood that his greatest accomplishments were never measured by the businesses he built, but by the way he treated people. Whether speaking with a lifelong friend, a customer, or someone he had just met, he gave them his full attention and genuine kindness.

Kulu’s success was built on the values that guided every aspect of his life: an extraordinary work ethic, an insatiable curiosity about the world, and a commitment to doing the right thing.

Above all else, Kulu was a devoted husband, a proud father, a loving son, brother, mentor, and loyal friend. His greatest joy came from the people he loved, and he leaves behind a legacy found not only in what he built, but in the countless lives he touched.

His example reminds us that true success is measured not by what we have, but by how we live, how we love, and how we make others feel. His legacy of compassion, integrity, and a quiet strength will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
