Kim Ove Knudsen

Kim was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, on May 9, 1945, and passed away peacefully at his home in Calgary on June 24, 2024. Kim and his family immigrated to Canada when he was 12, initially landing in Vancouver and then moving to Calgary.

Kim excelled at scholastics and athletics. He worked for over 50 years as an electrical engineer and was well respected in his field. He is survived by his two sons, Kiel and Keir (Jenn) and his three grandsons, Cooper, Jackson and Koleten. He is also survived by his brothers, Michael (Angie), Ken and a sister, Jytte Patey-Jorgensen (Ben)

A private family celebration will be held at a later date.
