Kevin Guderyan Obituary

Kevin Gerard Guderyan passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2024, after a very courageous battle with cancer. He was born March 5, 1956, to Karl and Pat Guderyan, who have passed before him.

He is survived by his two precious daughters, Brittany and Simone; and his seven brothers and sisters, Beverly, Brian, Ellen, Greg, Shelagh, Karl and John. Kevin was also survived by his brother and sisters-in-law, as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was also very close to his many aunts, uncles and cousins, and made an impact on their lives.

Kevin lived life large! He loved and had a passion for travel, adventure, hunting, the outdoors and SPEED—motorbiking, sledding and ski racing. As much as he loved speed, he also liked the quiet, peaceful moments. Meditation was a big part of his life.

Kevin was a doer. He did not like the words ‘no’ or ‘impossible’. When he was in, he was in 100%.

Kevin loved people and got a lot of energy from those around him. He always looked forward to family functions, reunions and parties.

Kevin‘s favourite saying was “ I can’t wait until tomorrow, because I get better looking every day!”

Kevin’s spirit and energy will be missed, but never forgotten.

The family would like to thank all of the amazing  caregivers at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre, especially , Krista MacAlister, Dr. Monica Modi and Dr. Peter Duggan.

At Kevin’s request, there will be no funeral. There will be a private family Celebration of Life at a later date.
