It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we said good-bye to our beloved Aunt Judith.
Born in Budapest, Hungary, Judith lived a long, varied, and interesting life. She left Hungary during the 1956 revolution and ended up in San Nicholas, Argentina with her parents and younger sister, Ildiko. After a few years she decided to move to Calgary to be with her older sister Eva and her family. Judith married Julius and lived in the Lansdowne area for many years prior to moving to Canyon Meadows after Julius passed.
Judith was a professional designer and maker of knitwear who worked for many years in the Calgary fashion industry. Judith loved animals, flowers, and the Rocky Mountains. She loved to travel and seek adventure visiting many countries over the years.
Judith is survived by two generations of nieces and nephews in Canada and Argentina. She is the last of her generation to pass. Our special thanks to the supportive staff at Clifton Manor these past few years for their dignified supportive care.
Due to COVID restrictions, a family service will take place in the near future.
In lieu of flowers the family request you perform an act of kindness to honour Judith. She would really enjoy this.
“ And the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the very first time”
